What do you get when you put Darth Vader in the Vietnam Army?

A Poster!

This is my first attempt for a music album cover design. 

This design was done using only text consisting names of singers/bands.

 ○ Anger!!! ○

This design is special to me as it was inspired by a painting my girlfriend and i did together

a few years back.

It shows a rebellious girl venting out her anger not because of bad behavior but rather...

A suffering life story.

Screams that are unheard by others...

○ Taxi! ○

Well who doesn't love Singapore Taxis...?

Their endless trails of road jamming lining up for passengers at hot spots...

Their dedication to get passengers to destination as fast as they can...(by over-speeding)

Their careful (more like careless) driving that almost get motorcyclist (like me) into accidents...

Oh how we so love Singapore Taxis....

○ T-Shirt Designs for 2010 ○

 ○ Shoot! ○

When a person gives up in life or throws it away, the would often be wasting all the colours of life.

This design was did when i felt truely down. When life wasn't being fair for me, and things never went my way.

All the troubles in life, all my dreams that i felt could never came true.

Someone then came up to me and said: "you or other people might say that your designs are rubbish. But not everyone has the guts or the talent to do what you do".

Soon i managed to pick myself up, and tell myself to go on doing what i love to do.

Even if it was just for fun. Because that is where i can truly see...my life's colours...

○ Samurai-Vader ○

As a fan of the Star Wars Saga, i see the characters going to different planets whereby

there are different lifeforms, environments and also lifestyle. I wondered to myself...

how would Darth Vader,a main protagonist in the movies would look like if he

was a japanese samurai. And that was where the design for this came from.

A combination of Culture and Future. 

○ Weapon X Horror ○

In classical movie posters, we often see pictures of women screaming to a sight of monsters,aliens etc...

So in modern time, what can be used to replace these monsters?

I felt that a fictional character that fits a monster is 'Wolverine'.

He represents anger,violence and carnage.

Yet, he is also a symbol of courage and strength.

Breaking through all barriers and reminds us to always move forward no matter what the outcome is...

As long as we believe in our self.

○ Face Off ○

This was designed to re-spark my soul and passion as a graphic designer after absence from

 professional designing during NS. Face Off tells of the will to remove all barriers from the

 mind and body to do what the heart passions for.

○ SoulhunterZ FanZ ○

A short moment upon my National Service Completion, i happened to embark on an expedition

 organized by a private paranormal company called 'SoulHunterZ'.

This was designed by me personally for the group as a platform for the group's fans.

○ Tree Of Life ○

Inspired by events that occurred during my expedition with the paranormal group.

This tree signifies that beyond what we see with our eyes, there are other mysterious

things that are unexplainable in this realm we live in.

○ My Early Design Works (2007-2008) ○

○ Project Rockstar ○

Initially was a design meant for a T-shirt. Was used as a poster in the later period.

○ He Said ○

A Project that was requested by a company to reach out to teens. Thus,design was used as flyers to promote an event for teenagers that was the 'Teenage Base Project'. The event was a success.

○ Event Coupon ○

Along with the above flyer, this coupon was also used as a food voucher for those who attended the event.

○ Danger ○

This design was created for the purpose to be used as a safety poster to replace safety signs. Can be used in schools by teachers/staff to identify hazards in compounds. Also can be used as a fun greeting card to send to friends.
